NHC Local Reentry Council – LINC, Inc. | New Hanover County Local Reentry Council

The Local Reentry Council at LINC, Inc. (LRC) brings together stakeholders who offer assistance and resources to help formerly incarcerated and justice-involved individuals to become productive citizens and reduce recidivism. LRC is comprised of community and faith-based service providers, an advisory committee, an intermediary agency (in New Hanover County, this is LINC, Inc.), local agency staff from the NC Department of Public Safety (Prison and Probation) and a local executive committee.

LRC case managers develop individualized, comprehensive local reentry plans to address barriers that formerly incarcerated individuals face in the New Hanover County community. Focus areas include employment, mental health, substance abuse treatment, transportation, child care services, vocational training, education, and housing.
